II. How to apply for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise International Market Development Fund (SMEIMDF)

According to the new policy and requirement of the state on SMEIMDF, a company can apply for SMEIMDF only if it meets following  qualifications:

1. Has independent import & export right and import and export customs code

2. Last year's total export volume based on customs statistics is under $15 million (for example, if a company applies for fund for exhibition in 2007, its total export volume in 2006 should be less than $15 million).

3. The SME Qualification On-line Registrations has been made with a local department of the Ministry of Commercial and the qualification of "enterprise project" has been publicized on www.smeimdf.org（website of SME International Market Development Fund）.

Any enterprise that meets the above two conditions but has not registered with local department is welcome to visit www.smeimdf.org immediately and click "Contact Competent Department" on the top right corner of the web page to find the way to contact local competent department and then complete the registration. Otherwise, our sub-council cannot apply for SMEIMDF on behalf of it.

Points for attention:

1. The name of a company used in registration must in accordance with that used in exhibition
2. The bank information and financial account number used in registration must be checked carefully.
